| Dear HMS parents, guardians, and caregivers,
We hope this message finds you well and warm. We successfully navigated our first five day week since before December break, and our students rocked it! Pictured here are the students who attended the District II Instrumental Music Festival. This group performed with other musicians from around our area last Friday and Saturday at Lewiston High School. Congratulations to our participants!
Our next HMS Update will be shared on February 27, 2026. Please be in touch with any questions. Thank you for your partnership! With Gratitude, Mandy Lewis and Tom McDowell, HMS Administrative Team |

Hello! Can you believe that we are halfway through the 2025-2026 school year? Our HMS Counseling Team is here to support you, your child, and your family. We invite you to take a brief survey to help us understand the resources you are aware of and the additional supports that may be helpful to you. Your feedback will guide us in improving communication and ensuring families can easily access counseling services and resources available through our school. Thank you for partnering with us and sharing your voice.
The anonymous survey is linked here. |

| Glow Run Kick-off It's almost here! The annual Glow Run, a time-honored tradition for Yarmouth 5th through 8th graders, will be held on Thursday, March 5th! For this event—our biggest fundraiser of the year—we transform the gym with atmospheric lighting, fun music, and bright neon colors to create an electric experience for students. Kids collect pledges in support of their participation, building community among their classes, raising funds for their schools, and setting personal goals. It all culminates on the day of the event, when they take to the lighted track for an epic glow run and fitness celebration.
Our goal is to raise $25,000 for classroom enrichment, field trips, teacher appreciation initiatives, playground improvements, and other special events. Encourage your students to sign up! The website is open to sign-ups! Visit mybooster.com and follow these steps: -Choose "Sign Up" and create an account (Tip for parents and guardians: Enter YOUR birthdate, not your student's) -Search for "Yarmouth Schools" -Register your student -Explore the website and start sharing!
Please reach out to the Yarmouth PTO at yarmouthpto04096@gmail.com with any questions. Ready, set, GLOW! February PTO Meeting

| Dear Parents of Writers, Have you ever said to yourselves, “I just wish there was a camp for kids who like to write.” Wish no more! For the tenth year, a writing camp is being held in Yarmouth this summer.
The camp offers time to write with other young authors in a relaxed environment designed to spark creativity. Writers will have time to get their thoughts on paper, be inspired and energized by activities indoors and out, and have time to interact with other kids and high school volunteers (former campers of course!) who also want to write. Each year we bring in lots and lots of new activities. YARMOUTH YOUNG AUTHORS CAMP Camp is for students CURRENTLY in grades 4-7 JUNE 22-26, 2026. 9AM-2PM @ YARMOUTH HIGH SCHOOL Instructors: Lorrie King and Patricia Valley
