After a 5 year hiatus, our Young Athletes' Festival, put on in conjunction with Special Olympics Maine, was a big hit! The athletes had so much fun. Thank you to our 8th-grade student volunteers and our teachers for their efforts to make this meaningful community event a reality. We are so proud of the ways our entire 8th grade class supported the young athletes throughout their program. Well done, 8th graders!

Attendance Information
Even though we are entering summer vacation, families should still be thinking about how to set their students up for success next school year. We have included some helpful information about attendance. During the summer months, continue to encourage your student to read and play with math. This will help them keep their brains engaged in meaningful ways. As August approaches, start a routine for getting up for school, rather than waiting for the first week back. Continue to emphasize the importance of school to your student.
Lost and Found
Students are encouraged to check our lost and found for any missing items. All items will be donated at the end of the school year.

Step Up Day
On Thursday, June 13, students will experience their step up day. Details are provided here:
Current 8th graders will walk to YHS at 12pm and will experience a modified schedule of all classes. They will end their day at YHS.
Current 5th, 6th, and 7th graders will meet their homeroom teacher and subteam members for the next school year.
Dates to Date:
June 13, 2024: Step Up Day - all grades
June 14, 2024: Trimester 3 Standards and Grades are updated in Powerschool
June 14, 2024: Last day of school - half day - student dismissal at 11:20am
