HMS Update

Dear HMS parents, guardians, and caregivers,

We have reached the end of May and find ourselves on the verge of summer. The past four weeks have included many celebrations and moments of joy, ranging from our Career Day to our spring concerts, a variety of field trips, and our Young Athletes Festival today. Pictured below are just a few of the many ways our 8th graders supported Special Olympics of Maine Young Athletes. They approached each athlete with kindness, care, and empathy. When we think about our core values, a day like today really showcases how our students model them for all to see!

Our final HMS Update will be shared on June 12, 2025. Thank you for your continued partnership and support. Be in touch with any questions or concerns.

With Gratitude,

Mandy Lewis and Tom McDowell

Lost and Found

Take some time with your student to see if you are missing items - clothing, lunch boxes, water bottles - we have quite a collection here at HMS! Our Lost and Found will remain in the hallway outside of the Main Office until the end of the day on June 13. Items left behind after this date will be donated.
