Dear YES Families,
It has been an outstanding start to the school year here at YES! Thank you for having your children so ready and for supporting such a successful start.
We are writing today with reminders of upcoming dates and also a couple of informational updates. As always, please reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

Tuesday, September 10: Grade 2 Parent Open House Presentation begins at 6 pm in the school cafeteria. There will be an opportunity to meet the Unified Arts teachers before transitioning to the second-grade classrooms.
Tuesday, September 17 at 6:00 pm: Grades 3 & 4 Open House
Tuesday, September 17 at 6:30 pm: Band Information Night for Gr. 4 & 5 Parents (Cafeteria)
Tuesday, September 24 at 6:00 pm: Grade 5 Open House
At each open house, you will learn about your child's academic day and learning experiences.
*Please remember that the open houses are for parents only.
Thursday, September 19 at 4:00 pm: PTO Meeting- YES Library
Tuesday, October 1: School Picture Day
Saturday, October 5: Flu Clinic at Harrison Middle School. 9 am - 12 pm
We appreciate people making sure that their car tag, or the PikMyKid app, is present and visible at student pick-up. Please make sure that one of these is visible and/or presented to the staff on duty.
If you need more car tags, you can contact the main office, and we will provide them for you. This procedure is for safety and efficiency when dismissing students at the end of the day. Thank you for your help!
