Yarmouth Elementary School September Update

September 2025

Dear YES Families,

What a wonderful first week of school it has been! The energy and excitement your children brought through our doors made for a smooth and joyful transition back into the rhythms of learning. It’s been heartwarming to see how quickly students have reconnected with friends, built relationships with teachers, and settled back into the routines of school life.

One of our favorite moments this week came from a new second grader, who—after recess on the first day—looked around the playground with a big smile and said, “This place is awesome. Can we come here every day?” That simple, enthusiastic comment captures the feeling we have had at YES this week.

Thank you for sharing your amazing children with us. Their joy, curiosity, and resilience have made the start of the year a true celebration of learning. We are excited for all that lies ahead.

With that said, if your children are having any challenges adjusting to the start of school that we are not aware of, please reach out to us. We are here to help.

We are writing today with reminders of upcoming dates and also a couple of informational updates. As always, please reach out to us with any questions or concerns.

With gratitude,

Ryan Gleason, YES Principal & Molly Kilpatrick, YES Assistant Principal
