March 29 - Quarter Three ends

Quarter 3 Progress Reports will be available on Wednesday, March 6th. At that time, you will be able to view an accurate snapshot of your student’s mid-quarter grade and there will be a comment from any teacher who has a concern about the progress your student is making.

Grades 9 - 11 ~ Registration Conferences

Students in grades 9, 10, and 11 will sign up for next year’s courses through a conference with their advisor and parents/guardians. The conference dates are March 6 - 14. You should be hearing from your child’s advisor soon to schedule the conference. 

After a great fall and winter season, we are hard at work preparing for our upcoming spring season.

Registration Link - each student-athlete must be registered in order to begin their season on March 20th (pitchers and catchers) or March 27th (all athletes)

Please check your student-athlete's physical in PowerSchool - physicals are good for 2 years. Please have updated documentation faxed to 846-2326

Important details!

All students in grades 9 through 12 will be participating in our Career Exploration Program on March 13 and March 20. These days are full school days with special programming. Juniors and Seniors will not be accessing open campus during these two days. Lunch will be served in the cafeteria featuring some of our usual requested favorites. Important details!

Ninth graders who are attending the Museum of Fine Arts field trip, please remember that the bus to Boston leaves at 8:15, so please be in advisory by 8:00 AM for attendance.  There is NO late start for ninth graders on the day they go to Boston.  On the Advisor Community Service project day students need to be at school by 8:45 and you will proceed from YHS with your advisor group to your location. Tenth graders should report to school by 8:45.

On Saturday, 9 March, all four of our high school robotics teams will be competing against 44 other teams from Maine to determine who qualifies for the VEX World Championships in April in Dallas, TX.  Admission is free; stop by The Point in South Portland between 9am and 5pm.

Our annual College Information Night will be held on March 27th at 6:30pm in the YPAC. Sophomores and Juniors and their families are encouraged to attend.
